A native of Topeka, Kansas, Dr. Lynch grew up in a family where all four of the Lynch siblings would go on to earn medical degrees. He earned his undergraduate diploma from the University of Notre Dame and continues to be an ardent supporter of the Fighting Irish. Dr. Lynch completed medical school and his Obstetrics/Gynecology residency at the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City. He continues to be active in academic medicine, maintaining volunteer faculty appointment at Kansas University Medical Center in the department of Obstetrics/Gynecology. He also serves as a Kansas representative to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, providing information and feedback for legislators and national educators in his profession.
Dr. Lynch thoroughly enjoys being a specialist in the care of women. He considers it to be an honor to be allowed to participate in the birth of a new life. Dr. Lynch also specializes in minimally invasive surgery and is one of the few local OB/Gyns to have credentials to operate with the da Vinci® surgical robot. Other professional interests include the evaluation of infertility and management of menopause. The field of OB/Gyn provides Dr. Lynch with numerous opportunities to become familiar with a patient and her family. He strives to empower his patients to be proactive in their long term health and spends much of his office time counseling each patient about women's health and preventative care.
Dr. Lynch's interests include outdoor sports and tending his Purple Martin colony in his back yard. Dr. Lynch is married to Kim and they have three sons. They are involved in numerous soccer, baseball, scouting, church and school activities of their boys.
