The physicians and staff at Johnson County OBGYN take great pride in our patient care. To provide you with the best, we are updating our current electronic health record (EHR) to a new and improved one! This new EHR will allow for a more efficient and streamlined process for the entire practice and provide us with enhanced opportunities to better serve you.
There are a few ways this change can impact you as our patient. To keep you informed, please take note of the following information:
- Your visit could take longer than usual while we are in training. We understand this is inconvenient and apologize but have high hopes that the next visit will be back on our normal schedule.
- Our new patient portal offers an easy way to:
- Connect with your care team by sending a secure message, any time
- Access your health information, test results and appointment details
- Stay in control of your finances by viewing your bills online
- Please create your patient portal account if you have not done so already by visiting the website or downloading the AthenaPatient mobile app on your Apple app store or Google Play store.
- We will need to scan a copy of your driver's license and insurance cards into the new system and will ask for you to complete Patient Privacy and Billing the first time you’re seen on the new system.
