Biography

Dr. Sheridan opened his practice in the Shawnee Mission area in 1982. He has delivered over 4,000 babies and performed hundreds of gynecological surgeries. As recognition for compassionate and excellent care, Dr. Sheridan has been voted among the "Best Doctors in Kansas City."

Since first entering private practice, Dr. Sheridan has established a routine of personally delivering every patient. Because the birth of a baby is such a special and important event, Dr. Sheridan feels each patient deserves to have her "own doctor" present to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Dr. Sheridan is a native of Shawnee, Kansas. He received both his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Kansas. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. While at KU Medical Center, Dr. Sheridan was voted the most outstanding resident in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Sheridan and his wife, Mary, have been married for 29 years. They have two sons and a daughter. During leisure time, Dr. Sheridan enjoys jogging and playing basketball. He is an avid supporter of KU football and basketball. He frequently attends Kansas City T-Bones baseball games and "hosts" baseball players at his home each summer.
